Snapshots from LBMN2007 in SecondLife

First, I'd like to apologize for the short notice on the plans that changed for our Second Life Ball. The event was almost cancelled due to lack of interest. However, we were able to carry on, even if for a short while, to have the Ball in Second Life. We learned a lot in how to make this happen, and are considering future Second Life events, even ones parallel with real world events.

For those that didn't make it online, I've uploaded snapshots that I took from the event. (I tried to record video but it didn't work out.) Check out the flickr photo album to see the pictures.

For those who are upset that you missed the event because it changed times, we do sincerely apologize. Trust us when we say we were disappointed about the changes we had to make, but we wanted to do something and not cancel altogether. Please understand that plans change and we did the best we could. From what we've heard so far, those that attended enjoyed it and are hoping we can do it again soon. Knowing that there were many folks who planned to attend and couldn't, for you, we hope we can do this again very soon.

In the future, we need to communicate plans better. We also need to hear from you. If you intend to attend a virtual event, LET US KNOW. With a real event, we sold tickets in advance so we knew how many people were expected. With this virtual event, we had no idea. We'll make more channels available for you to let us know.
